3 Teams On The Rise Back

Sad about your team being 0-3 or 1-2 currently? No worries, there are some illusions that your team isn’t good this year and here are a few.

#1- Philadelphia Eagles- (1-2)

The Eagles unfortunately got punched in the mouth in every single first half this year. The first game of the year, the redskins did not come toy with the Eagles after they put up 20 points in the first half to which the Eagles had to come from behind and win in a final score of 32-27. However, after that game, the team was plagued by injuries, but has still played very competitive games against the lions and the falcons. Carson Wentz has played well as he usually does, but he needs help from his line and needs his starting wide receivers to be healthy. The Eagles secondary looks to be very bad, but as they did in previous years because they are still young, but the Eagles should make a comeback this year sometime in the mid season. Most likely the Eagles will make the playoffs or hit at least the wild card.

#2 Chargers (1-2)

The Chargers have been doing well and usually do well each year(until the playoffs), but they sit at 1-2 currently. Their games have been decided by less than 10 points for each loss so far. The Chargers play hard each game, but usually fall during the fourth. Kenan Allen has done some good work, but Mike Williams and Travis Benjamin needs to step up as neither of them have any touchdowns after 3 games. If Mike and Travis can have a little more production, then the chargers will do fine throughout the regular season. The running back situation isn’t helping either as Melvin Gordon has decided to sit out for the season until he gets a big pay day.

#3 Panthers

The panthers are struggling a bit this year with Cam Newton injuries. His shoulder isn’t what it used to be and it doesn’t seem to be getting any better. However, the team does have a lot of talent that has shown both on offense and defense throughout the last 3 games. Christian Mcaffery doesn’t seem like he can be stopped at times and the way the NFC south is looking currently, it’s still up for grabs. If Cam can get healthy again and improve his accuracy, then we may see a the panthers leading the division while Drew Brees is out for quite some time.
